how do you think they are likely to change (if at all) in the course of the 21st century, and
why?

I feel like gender expectations have already started to make a change in some ways. I feel like women now have a
push to be the provider for the family instead of being who stays home and takes care of the kids. We also have a
lot of freedom to express ourselves in what we wear, our makeup, and even hair styles. There is definitely a lot more
acceptance for the LGBT community. Over the 21st century I think it is going to change more in favor of everyone
being more acceptable.The basic roles of being a woman vs being a man are becoming out of date which is leading
to more freedom in what we do. I think that gender changes and the stereotype of blue for a baby boy and pink for a
baby girl could possibly become a change.I also think in some way gender expectations still are a thing. The mother
is usually the one to take care of children’s doctors appointments or when they are sick. I feel like over the 21st
century this might become a change because women are pursuing more careers and being the provider. The father
in those situations might have to step up and not do the basic gender expectations.
