Pattern Recognition (Matlab)

Answer the computer experiments problems. 2.7 and 2.8. The problems in textbook (Pattern Recognition) page 85-86. If they are not clear you can find it in text book by yourself. Read sections 1 through 4 of “On The Mathematical Foundations Of Theoretical Statistics”, and answer question1. What is a sufficient statistic for the Gaussian, Poisson, and exponential distributions? Express the mean and variance for these distributions in terms of the sufficient statistic.Requirement: Homework should be neatly formatted, and include a write up (Summary, Conclusions, etc.) as well as any code for programming problems. The writeup should be submitted as a pdf with a zip file containing a code supplement. The PDF writeup should “stand alone”, with the code used only if necessary.
