Follow these steps:
1. Read and know the differences between two working concepts before doing anything else: Objective social class, and Subjective social class.
*2. What is your subjective social class? (Yes, it is your guess or estimation). In other words, what do think your social class is (working class/lower income, middle class/middle income, upper class/upper income)? Explain your placement–say educational attainment, occupation, estimated household income, types of property owned, location/zip code, values of property (car, home value, investments etc)

*5. Is there a difference between your subjective and objective class? Explain the discrepancy between your subjective(what you thought your class placement is) and objective (measurable indicators of your social class) social class ? Why is it so?
*6. Conclude your post with a lesson learned about you–your perception and reality on social class position in the U.S. How likely is that you will attain an upward social mobility above that of your parents based on your race/ethnicity and your educational and professional/career aspirations?

I have ploughed and planted, and gathered into barns, and no man could head me! And ain’t I a woman? I could work as much and eat as much as a man – when I could get it – and bear the lash as well! And ain’t I a woman? I have borne thirteen children, and seen most all sold off to slavery, and when I cried out with my mother’s grief, none but Jesus heard me! And ain’t I a woman?

If the first woman God ever made was strong enough to turn the world upside down all alone, these women together ought to be able to turn it back , and get it right side up again! And now they is asking to do it, the men better let them.
