Your final written project of 1500 words will be structured under the following headings:
1. Title
2. Introduction
3. Discussion / Analysis
4. Conclusion
5. References & Bibliography (updated)
6. Glossary (updated)
The word count only includes parts 2 to 4. It excludes the references, glossary and other
possible appendices.
1. Title
This can be in the form of a question or a heading or a statement.
2. Introduction [~300 words]
Introduces the topic, refers to the title and announces how you will structure
(organise) the discussion.
3. Discussion / Analysis [1000 words]
Structure and organise your arguments and analysis into sub-headings. Group ideas
and discuss them in one paragraph. Then move on to the next.
4. Conclusion [~200 words]
Summarise what has been highlighted in the discussion. Pick up the main points and
draw a conclusion.
5. References & Bibliography
– A bibliography lists the sources used to inform your project.
– A reference list is a list of works cited in the report / dissertation.
– Each list will be presented separately on a new page.
– Both will list sources alphabetically by author’s surname and date of
publication.
– Please use Harvard style unless your school uses a different system which, as
long as you are consistent, you may choose to use. Please refer to the

6. Glossary (updated)
A version 1 glossary will have been submitted in Week 6. The final project will
include an updated version attached as an appendix at the end of the written
project.
