Guidelines for Students

General Guidelines:

· Total Marks = 10

· Due Date = 13/04/2021 till 11:59 PM) through Blackboard

· Each group will select a group coordinator who will submit the report and the video files via Blackboard.

· Email submission will
NOT
be accepted. Late submission will result in
ZERO
mark.

· Group Size = Min 2 Students and Max 4 Students

· Theme of the Project can be
Promotional Video for any Place of Choice
within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

· Each project group will pick one particular place after consulting with the course instructor. Examples include a cafeteria, a restaurant, a gym, a theme park or a shopping mall.

Video Guidelines:

· Each group will shoot original High-Quality video(s) as well as images of the chosen place. The video(s) and images will then be edited in a software to create a promotional video.

· You must use a popular multimedia video editing software to prepare the video. However, the tool must be approved by the respected instructor. Some examples of multimedia tools are as follows:

· The video must have brief voice notes in the background highlighting the following about the selected region (it may also have background music):

· History and location

· Reason for popularity

· Recreational / Adventure Activities for kids as well as adults

· How to reach – Transportation

· Others.

· Your video will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

Report Guidelines:

· Max marks = 5

· Report should have at least 10 pages

· The template for report will be shared with you through Blackboard. You must read and follow the guidelines mentioned in the report template. You must use this template, failing which will result in zero mark being awarded.

· Use the following fonts for your report

· The line spacing should be single

· Every figure/screenshot should be explained in your own words

· Reports should not have more than 15% plagiarism

· Avoid grammatical mistakes

· Report should be submitted in both MS Word and PDF format. These files must not be in compressed format. It is your responsibility to check and make sure that you have uploaded both the correct files.

· Zero mark will be given if you try to bypass the SafeAssign (e.g. misspell words, remove spaces between words, hide characters, use different character sets or languages other than English or any kind of manipulation).

· You are advised to make your work clear and well-presented. This includes filling your information on the cover page.

· You MUST show all your work, and text must not be converted into an image, unless specified otherwise by the question.
