History and Social Psychology

The discipline of social psychology developed in the mid-to-late 20th century and continues to evolve today. Use your text along with additional three additional scholarly resources from the UoR Library to research the history of social psychology. Submit a 1500-2000 word paper (excluding the cover sheet and reference page) that addresses the following:

1. Describe and classify the major theories, models, and concepts in social psychology
2. Describe the historical influences of social psychology and how they relate to current theories, models, and concepts.

Sources are credible (preferably peer-reviewed), varied, relevant, and current (published within past five years); use of seminal work (e.g. Freud) is encouraged.

Sources inform analysis, evaluation, problem-solving and decision-making.
