In a broad context, training refers to the act of imparting a particular skill or action to an individual, which is usually given to organizational employees. It is not the same as schooling, which is a structured learning mechanism in an organization that builds workers’ decision and thinking skills. It is open to all staff, regardless of their classification or location on the organizational ladder. These concepts are now so intertwined that perhaps the distinction between preparation and schooling is becoming increasingly blurred with the passing of time. Nonetheless, the essence and orientation of these two words are distinct.
