Eating Disorder of Men

An eating disorder is a psychological situation with altered eating habits that have altered the expected behavior of eating in men, which has led to an unhealthy condition. The eating disorder in a man is mainly caused by eating habits of food and affecting men around one million across the world. Eating routine is very dangerous whereby if not treated, it can lead to death. An eating disorder mainly affects men, making their body an immense stigma, making it hard to treat. The paper will examine how men’s eating disorders are caused and how the effects of the body’s normal functioning have changed.

Eating disorder, it can affect any men at any age depending on the eating habit. The rate of infection for eating disorders in men has increased due to the lack of attention and curing out of less research on the illness (Mangweth-Matzek & Hoek, 2017). Due to a lack of enough information for the eating disorder, clinicians have difficulty treating the sick. Due to lack of enough treatment, the anorexia nervosa will rise to the stage that can lead to the victim’s death.

Depression and shame are among the significant cause of eating disorders in men. Generally, when men have been depressed, they usually change the everyday eating habits that make them take and overuse alcohol and drug abuse, leading to eating disorders. When a man does a lot of exercise and bodybuilding, that is another cause of the eating disorder. These activities usually lead to addiction to men, thus leading to Anorexia Athleticism. Many men have Concentra on trying to lose weight and have better health, making them forget about balancing diets in their males (Afifi et al., 2017).

Last but not least, sexual orientation is another cause of eating disorders. Most disorder body image of men are straight while other gays lack body image. Due to this, beliefs of body image disorder cause raised more than ten times.

Anorexia nervosa is the type of eating disorder that will be observed in men. It is a typical eating disorder that is very common and well-known. During adolescence is when anorexia nervosa occurs that generally affects men in society. Bulimia nervosa is another type of eating disorder that has similar characteristics to that of anorexia nervosa. Men with bulimia normally eat more food in a limited period until it becomes painfully full, leading to eating disorders in men.

Among men eating disorders this day, it is an illness that is very common. Togate treatment will take longer due to a lack of specific treatment for the illness (Galmiche et al., 2019). It can be caused by any food but most commonly by the individual’s food. For men to avoid the illness, they should always take a balanced diet. More research should be done to find the treatment of the eating disorder.
