A training session plan, also known as a learning plan, can be described as a professionally organized description of activities and resources one may wish to utilize in providing appropriate guidance to a group of people (DerSarkissian, 2020). With respect to the question, First Aid and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills are most crucial to acquire as an employee as they serve as the first line of lifesaving techniques that need to be deployed during emergencies such as heart attacks, accidental cuts, burns, or even near-drowning.

Training outline.

The topic under consideration. First aid and CRR on how to handle accidents resulting from burns and cuts.

Purpose of the training.

To impart skills and knowledge of preventing and reducing risk and accidents associated with burns and cuts at the workplace to ensure guaranteed safety of all the employees (DerSarkissian, 2020).

Objectives and goals of the learning and training program.

i. Impart skills and knowledge to various groups of employees on how best to handle victims with accidental cuts and burns.

ii. To train and educate employees on how to take caution and prevent /reduce incidences of accidental injuries, illnesses, and deaths associated with burns and cuts.

iii. To train employees’ bodies on how to identify assessments and reports and challenges that may predispose them to incidences of accidental cuts or burns within or outside the working environment (DerSarkissian, 2020).

iv. Defines roles and responsibilities of the First Aid participants regarding who should communicate the issues and complaints associated with risk identified within the working environment.

v. Provide more insights to the participants about applicable standards of OSHA in preventing accidents among the employees.

2. Anticipated learning and training outcomes.

By the end of the training program and related sessions, the participant should be able to:

i. Portray and apply skills and knowledge gained from the training to effectively handle victims with accidental cuts or burns (GALARZA, 2020).

ii. Identify and apply OSHA standards to ensure safety is guaranteed in their worming environment.

iii. Apply the skills acquired to reduce, if not eliminating, incidents of accidental burns and cuts (GALARZA, 2020).

iv. Use the knowledge gained from the training to conduct risks and safety assessments and generate a report indicating predisposing factors for accidental burns and cuts within ye working environment.

v. Apply the skills to correctly and appropriately communicate and channel challenges, issues, and complaints associated with risks and safety within their working environment.

3. Assessment, evaluation, and reflection.

Using quizzes, test questions, and practical application, the learning’s effectiveness will be evaluated and reflected. Participants will be assessed via their reactions and responses provided in the quizzes as well as behavioral reactions alongside the results of the training sessions.

· Roles and responsibilities of workers.

Avoid handling exposed and naked electrical appliances and wires with bare hands, deploying fire prevention tactics, constant use of protective gears and equipment, and ensuring every tool and sharp object are appropriately stored (GALARZA, 2020).

· Roles of the employer.

Putting in place hazard preventive mechanisms, provide emergency plans to facilitate easy management of accidents, provide frequent hazard management training platforms, and standard labeling of all tools, equipment, and machines is correctly done to eliminate confusion.

Adequate first aid CRR responses on;

· Accidental cut injuries.

When handling minor injuries, one needs to clean and disinfect the cut region with appropriate antiseptics, and as serious and severe injuries, one will be required to ensure bleeding is stopped by applying pressure and immediately call for emergency attention for further treatment Healthline, 2017).

· Accidental burns.

First, identify the severity of burns and, if not severe cool the region with cold water, cover the region with clean and dry material and for severe burns, elevate the part as you call for emergency medical attention.

5. Challenges, Complaints, and issues.

After identifying the risk or accidental cuts or burns, workers should immediately report to their supervisor, who will channel the issues to the safety and risk prevention department as well as notifying the management of the underlying safety challenges Healthline, 2017).

6. Effective communication.

· Employer to Worker.

Message should be effectively, timely and clearly communicate using appropriate available channels.

· Worker to the employer.

Identified risk and safety concerns should be relayed to the proper authority immediately to enable the employer to respond expeditiously to remedy the situation.

· Trainer to the employees.

A trainer will provide more insights on how the employees will identify risk and safety concern over accidental cuts and burns, educate the employees on the best channel to deploy when reporting such incidences and perhaps provide knowledge on how to effectively respond to emergency and accidents within their working place (Perry, 2020).

7. Policies, Rules, and regulations.

All the policies, regulations, and rules will be availed through either employee’s manual handbook and the organization’s website.

8. OSHA applicable standards.

The applicable OSHA regulations to the training encompass;

i. Protection of the employees via providing all the necessary protective equipment and gears as may be specified by the job description with minimal exposure to the harmful working environment (Perry, 2020).

ii. Employees should be exposed to hazard-based training with frequent updates on emerging safety issues.

iii. Employees should be guaranteed medical assistance and support whenever they are befallen with misfortune while at work (Perry, 2020).
