Hi,
please am looking for someone to help me out with discussions for my two classes, please read the instructions carefully and Answer accordingly. thanks
Questions
Reporting performance and other types of project reporting play an essential role in project communications management and involve the generation of various types of written reports. Sections 10.2 and 10.3 of the PMBOK Guide explain the role of various types of reports/reporting in project management.
For this week’s discussion, post your response to ONE of the discussion topics below. Provide support using the PMBOK Guide (with page or section numbers) except for #3. Also, respond to the post of 2 classmates.
1) Work Performance Reports are described in small sections of Chapters 4, 9, 10, and 11 of the PMBOK Guide. Review all of these sections and provide a summary explaining what are work performance reports. Also discuss the potential content and audience for these project reports. Provide an example of how you would use these in your workplace (preferably in a project setting if you work with projects).
2) Various types of project reports may be distributed to stakeholders, “and should be adapted to provide information at an appropriate level, format, and detail for each type of stakeholder” (PMI, 2017, section 10.2.2.5). Briefly explain what the Stakeholder Register and the Stakeholder Engagement Plan are (see Chapter 13 of PMBOK Guide), and how they support distributing select project information to the correct stakeholders/stakeholder groups. As you likely know, agile project management is gaining traction, so it is important to understand how information is shared in an agile setting. For example,
information radiators
are widely used on agile projects in lieu of formal project reports. Discuss here some aspects of information radiators and their advantages or disadvantages. (You may want to sign up for free at agilealliance.org and search their site for “information radiator”.)
3) Look for articles that discuss the relevance of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and cybersecurity in project management. Here are a few to get started:

How do you envision projects of the future using AI and ML to get the right information, alerts, and reports to the right stakeholders at the right time in the most effective manner and tailored exactly to the needs of each stakeholder – all with little, if any, human involvement? And what might the project manager of the future need to do to ensure that these AI and ML “bots” are not hacked to deliberately create malicious and/or misleading information/reports that might impair project progress? Finally, how might Stakeholder Engagement change if and when AI and ML capabilities like these are common?
Question 1
Choose a project with a relatively simple description (building a LAN, designing a web page, inventing a new communication device, etc.). Which type of contract structure (Fixed total price, Fixed unit price, Fixed price with incentive, Fixed fee with price adjustment)
and what procurement documents (Request for Proposal, Invitation for Bid, Request for Quotation/Proposal)
would you recommend for this project and why?
Course Feedback – Week 9
Each week, I have learned something new in this class. Things that I can implement at work, ways to deal with conflicts to situations, I am not used to basic skills of communications. we leant about group conflict and conflict management strategies while working in groups and learnt how to manage conflict.
Decision making and problem solving in groups Is a consensus of problem-solving approaches, majority ruling, and building more teams that are effective. argumentation and negotiation were introduced to motivate employees, determine positive conflicts and how to deal with irrelevant and inappropriate schemes that happen within the group during the project.
We also discussed basic negotiation skills of bargaining and integrative tactics included in the business setting of negotiation. Also discussing how to avoid making mistakes within planning and when you are setting goals for your project.
Each week continues to be learning experience for me. We continue to have weekly check-ins, ensure all work is completed for the project by Sundays, and communicate effectively to ensure we are on track for the GCCM Paper due in Week 11. We continue to edit each other’s work to understand the baseline and have chances to place our views with our team member views. So far, I have really enjoyed this class and especially my group.
Procurement Management
Tania Smith
Mar 11, 2021 7:45 PM
Project scope: Tania International is looking to expand its network and start marketing its customer services on the web. The website’s design will need to reach a wide range of audiences and have an interactive chat window for customers to as questions in real-time. This will require a website redesign procurement. With this type of work, a fixed price with incentive-based contract would be suitable. A fixed-price incentive contract is a fixed-price contract that provides for adjusting profit and establishing the final contract price by application of a formula based on the relationship of total final negotiated cost to total target cost (al., 2021). Having this type of contract will leverage the contractor to want to complete their milestone at a pace that allows them to get a good monetary bonus. Performance/Cost Incentives: Incentives may be considered when realistic, measurable targets can be set out in the statement of work and successful project performance identified (energy.gov, n.d.). In order for realistic and measurable targets to be developed, good technical, schedule and cost baselines are essential However, in doing a procurement based on a fixed-price incentive, the final price is subject to a price ceiling, negotiated at the outset. The contract might include an incentive for completing the work on an important milestone for the web redesign, but the overall negotiated price in the beginning can change at the close of the project. For Tania International this is still a good option being as thought the project is redesign of an already established site. The documents needed to procure the work would be a Request for Information (RFI) from the Contracting company, Request for Proposal (RFP) once company is selected, a Cost Analysis and Risk Analysis breakdown. After documentation is received final Performance of work schedule will be give to the vendor for review and the work can begin.
