from the emails, short messages, and images. The digital forensic investigator is responsible for preserving the digital device’s state, analyzing the state of the di-
gital device, and reporting the retrieved data. Digital forensics is vital to be used in criminal cases because it brings hidden evidence. There are several cases where di-
gital forensic was used. A perfect example is the matt baker case of 2010. Matt baker’s criminal case is a criminal case that involved matt baker, a Methodist pastor
who happened to be accused about the killing of his spouse and was passed judgment to detention about sixty-five times. In the period of 2006, matt baker’s spouse
