Past experience casts present us

There is no doubt that our current state and behavior will be greatly influenced by past experience. Therefore, we can say that we are the product of pasting experience, from which we can draw meanings and explanations that guide us now and in the future. It is worth noting that the past experience may be positive or negative, and the result is the current experience, which largely corresponds to the past experience.

Although human beings are the product of many factors, it is worth noting that the past has a significant impact on the present and the future. It is worth noting that the behavior people are showing at this moment is a result of the past. “In a heartbeat, the present is perceptually and emotionally the past.” (Stout 416) In this case, behavioral changes may occur at a young age, while trying to change behaviors as the child grows up may become with great difficulty. In a similar way, the environment one creates today can be considered a replica of the environment in which it was raised in the past. As such, it is not surprising that psychiatrists have shown a strong interest in the patient’s past, trying to establish factors that may lead to the patient’s current condition. In such cases, clinicians rely on information provided by patients and family members, as patients may sometimes be unable to provide accurate information about their childhood or past.

As mentioned earlier, a person’s past may be negative or positive. In children, negative past experiences can involve multiple factors, one of which is physical abuse by a parent or guardian. It is worth noting that abuse may not be the result of child misconduct, which may pose a real danger to the child’s mental health. Abuse may also occur because the person raising the child may not be their biological parent. In such cases, considerable discrimination and hatred may be experienced, and children may not be able to enjoy the rights they claim. Past results will be low self-efficacy, fear and inability to express themselves. Basically, these people are usually traumatized and they forget the useless events because they forget other events in life.

“Insufficient memory in the context of an adequate intellect, let alone a gifted one, is the next observation- right after the extraordinary understatement and humor- that causes me to become suspicious about a patient’s past” (Stout 419).On the contrary, these people are introverted in addition to difficulties in social life. Often, people may develop a tendency to have no friends or acquaintances. One’s other negative past may have been a family suspected of stealing personal property from members of such homes. In this case, one person may become cautious and suspicious of everyone else, because they would have trusted and relied on protection to betray trust. People who have experienced this in the past will encounter real difficulties in trusting others, and their participation in interpersonal relationships is often problematic. Another adverse effect that a person may experience in the past is an accident involving car maintenance or other technical equipment, such as factory machinery. In this case, the person may have suffered an accident or witnessed another person’s experience. One example is bullying on social media sites such as Facebook.

“The point is that Facebook has a strong paternalistic view on what’s best for you and it’s trying to transport you there” (Foer 106). Although people who have not been bullied may not understand the true experience, victims may be inclined to avoid technology sites due to past adverse effects. The experience of other technical adverse effects is that the use of copyrighted materials without the consent of the relevant department will be fined. “Thomas Jefferson, for one, considered copyright a necessary evil” (Lethem 238). Both evil and necessity point to a situation where a lack of compliance can put a person in trouble. In much more severe cases, the direct experience of physical pain can be separated. “Most of us have heard stories along the line of parents who, with a broken leg, goes back to the scene of an accident and wrenches open a mangled car door… to rescue her child” ( Stout 422). This sentence confirms that the experience of the accident can be traumatic. Based on past experience, people may be negative about technology, and when they interact with the aforementioned items, fear of technical equipment and / or cars will be written on their faces. However, it is encouraging that people who have experienced the event may turn into events that may have been traumatic in the past. “Only the addictions, major depressions, suicide attempts, and general ruination that attend the most severe disorders and can sometimes supply motivation sufficiently…” (Stout 417) The implication is that past negative experiences and traumas usually do not disappoint everyone, and people still have the opportunity to pick up their fragments and continue to live.

A person’s past nasty experience with livestock or wildlife can also occur, and an example of the former experience is kicked or bitten by an unruly livestock. Negative experiences with wildlife can be bitten or stabbed by certain dangerous animals. As in the previous case, the incident may have become a victim, or they have witnessed a blow to fate. The result of this nasty experience will be the fear of animals and the tendency to avoid dealing with animals. Instead, these people avoid occupations such as animal husbandry.

Past experiences may also be positive, and their impact on the present may be positive. For example, a person may grow up in a happy family full of peace and harmony, which rules the entire world. Such homes will need to peacefully correct mistakes and avoid making mistakes, while parents and siblings will work to make people experience the most favorable environment. Another feature of past experiences is social tools, such as websites that improve the quality of life experiences. “There’s no doubting the emotional and psychological power possessed by Facebook” (Foer 113). People who have experienced this environment in the past are likely to be happy, outgoing and socially interacting. In a similar way, the person may have the confidence to express their wishes without having to worry because they are not threatened at a young age. Due to the absence of trauma in the life of such persons, they usually exhibit the capability to remember past experiences succinctly and without struggle (Stout 419). The ability to remember may be because the past was a beneficial experience. Other positive experiences one may have experienced in the past are optimistic lecturers who notice and recognize the least achievements. Mentors may also be willing to guide people in physical labor to achieve their aspirations and goals. Another feature of this environment is the provision of incentives to increase people’s motivation to pursue desirable processes in life.“A gift economy may be superior when it comes to maintaining a group’s commitment to certain values” (Lethem 243).The result of this experience will be positive people who appreciate who others are and encourage them to expand the height of their personal dreams. One may find himself in an environment where honesty dominates and people can hardly lie. This environment will also include those who are unwilling to steal other people’s property, including money, and everyone can go out and protect their belongings. Encountering a person suffering from such an environment will confirm that the person is trustworthy and honest, and that the person will find it easy to trust others. Consequently, such persons would not develop the predisposition to emotional detachment and disengagement with the world (Stout). The problem, however, is that these people’s trust is often betrayed, and it will eventually lead to multiple heartbreaks. All in all, these people will play a role in building trust-based relationships.
