Intentional Learning

Paragraph 1

The meaning of the phrase that learning is “taking in the world around you through your senses, making sense of it and responding appropriately.” In my opinion means that when one is learning, he or she must ensure that they have clear understandings of the questions of which they would ask. When one is giving answers to any asked questions, he or she must ensure that the response given to the question is accurate or correct and provided in the right way possible. The questions should, therefore, not just to answer the way one thinks they should be solved.

The intentional learner is the person using a clear educational goal, a laser-like learning focus, grit, and a growth mindset to drive Learning Patterns to achieve success on every assignment and assessment. (Johnston, 2018, Key Term). In order word the person who often sets out an objective and goal to learn something to gain something from learning.

Paragraph 2

In the case of LCI, I scored 32 on precision, and I was on the first level. For the instance of sequence, I had 31 as my score, and I was also on the first level. The score was 24 for the technical reasoning, and still, it was on the first level, then there comes confluence, which I scored 21. In my view, the scores were very accurate to the best of my imagination. In the case of confluence pattern, I believe that I merely used it when I was confused about something, so I would only take a risk and conduct things in whichever way I thought they would get done. I like using sequence since I enjoy doing things in an orderly manner, and I’m not too fond of a chaotic situation.

Technical reasoning scores, on my own, were correct since I love doing things in groups with other people involved in the process. About the ratings I obtained in the precision, it is the right result since I tend not to like so much asking or answering questions. (Johnston, 2018, Section 2.2).

Paragraph 3

There was this occasion when I had to sit for my exams, calling for a through learning. It was at that time when I used intentional learning to set my goals on how to study and schedule the studying in such a way as to achieve the target of passing the exams and moving to the next level academically. Secondly, I have faced another situation of having to work with a set of new people at my work as a coordinator where I had to apply intentional learning. In this case, I set out the objectives of maximizing productivity in the organization. One of the goals was to work smart and also think of safety first. I also got requested another operator to achieve the best and smooth production.

At home, the learning patterns I have acquired can be useful in being more focused on doing the household chores in the best possible way for better results. In the school, I would use the patterns by asking more questions and participating in answering the asked ones, too, to boost my performance.
