Integrated Office Project (Instructions)

In this assignment, you will be using the chart below to create three different files (one each in Excel, Word, And PowerPoint). Please review the instructions carefully and submit all three files (named as specified below) to the Module 2: Integrated Office Project Assignment.

Excel Project Part

Southwestern High School’s freshman class held a fundraising event to build a new library. The freshman class was divided into four teams of 100 students each. The students collected money for 5 weeks. The winning team gets to name the new library. You are the freshman class treasurer. You want to use MS Excel to calculate how well each team did per week and overall. You collected the following information.

Create a chart in Excel that meets the following expectations. Please refer to the rubric to ensure you are meeting the requirements for this portion of the assignment:

1. Find the sum, average, maximum, and minimum for each team.

2. Find the sum, average, maximum, and minimum for each week.

3. Inset a picture of a fund raising activity.

4. Format all amounts to currency.

5. Put the team total in green with a yellow background.

6. Create a pie chart of the team totals.

7. Create a column chart of the weekly totals.

8. Save the Excel file with this file name: Fundraiser.

Word Processing Part 

Use the information and charts from the Excel portion of this assignment to create a one page (or less) formal business letter to the principal stating which team gets to name the library. It is recommended that you consult this resource as you write and format your business letter:

Presentation Part using PowerPoint

Use the information and charts from the Excel portion of this assignment to create a presentation about the fundraiser to present to the freshman class. Keep the presentation to five slides total. The presentation should include table figures, charts, animations, transitions, and sounds or music, used appropriately. Please refer to the rubric to ensure that you are including all applicable aspects of this portion of the assignment.
