We also have customers who would be considered higher income than upper middle-class. The people Walmart doesn’t target are the wealthy. OR The target area chose is the children age group of the customers buying in Walmart. The chosen target is viable because it can be controlled to have products sold to all children age groups. The layout of the store should include things that are attracted towards the children, with childish furniture, colored walls and lighting. It’s a good idea because children will be attracted to a place that is different than other professional stores. The two things I would change in the layout would be that there should be a play area for children in the store so that they are forced to enter it. I would also like to change the uniform of the employees to character costumes. |
